Finally, the presidential election is here. Today, Nigeria, the most populous black nation on earth will march to the polling centres to elect who would pilot the ship of the nation for another four years.
Dubbed as the most keenly contested election in the history of this entity called Nigeria, the nation would in no less than 48 hours from know who would occupy the presidential village starting from May 29.

A yet-to-be identified electoral officer has lost her life while another was seriously injured in a road mishap that occured in Oju area of Benue State, Saturday morning, IDOMA VOICE has learnt.
The incident happened along Obussa-Ebonyi road in Oju around 7:45 am.

The Permanent Voter Card, PVC, presented by Senate President, David Mark, in his polling unit in Otukpo Benue State was immediately read by the card reader used.
He was consequently cleared by election officers in an accreditation that took few minutes. He called on Nigerians to be patient with the exercise and eschew disorderliness.
