‘No celebration while our people bleed’ – Ottah Agbo warns victorious LG officials

Former Honourable Member representing Ado, Okpokwu, Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo has congratulated the Chairman of Ado Local Government Council, Hon Sunny Oche and the 10 Councillors on their victories at the Appellate Court, Abuja. He also congratulated all the Council Chairmen and Councillors across the 23 Local Government Councils in the state.
He cautions the Councils not to celebrate Councils not to celebrate the victor in honour of our brothers, sisters and parents who have been murdered in cold blood across parts of Benue State by terrorists.

While describing the victory, as triumph for the people of Benue State, Dr. Ottah Agbo hailed the Judiciary for preserving the majesty of the ballot box.

The NewsRoom Editor, turned Politician also thanked the Executive Governor of Benue State, HE, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia for assembling a crack team of legal luminaries who diligently prosecuted the matter in court to a logical and well-deserved victory.

“Today’s victory at the Court of Appeal is not victory for the Governor, APC or the Councils alone, but victory for the long suffering people of Benue State. Now that the coast is clear, I enjoin the Council Chairmen and Councillors to roll up their sleeves, collaborate with the Governor and Security agencies to stamp out insecurity as well as, work for the liberation of the masses,” the former FeedBack Lawmaker declared.

Dr. Ottah Agbo who is fondly called the OZIGIZAGA and UBAGIDI of Enone, however called on the victors to be magnanimous in victory and reach out to the aggrieved parties. He also called on the aggrieved parties to weep no more, for there will be light at the end of the tunnel for them in future as no condition is permanent!
