No sir – Saraki bashes Buhari for suspending Twitter in Nigeria
Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has faulted the move by the federal government to ban the use of Twitter in Nigeria.
The minister of information, Lai Mohammed had on Friday accused the microblogging site for inciting violence in Nigeria.
Amazingly, the minister announced the development via Twitter.
Reacting, Saraki said the decision must be reviewed.
He tweeted, “No sir! This should not be the response from the president of a nation with a vibrant youthful population for whom #Twitter is part of their daily lives and a source of their income and livelihood. This must be reviewed.”
