Osimhen won’t leave – Napoli chief, De Laurentiis
Aurelio de Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, has once more underscored the club’s unwavering commitment to retaining the services of Victor Osimhen within their ranks.
Osimhen’s name has been linked to esteemed clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich. However, these high-profile clubs have refrained from formally presenting offers for the Nigerian international.
In a recent development, Saudi Arabia Professional League side Al Hilal ventured into the scene with two sizeable bids for the striker, both of which were promptly rejected by Napoli.
As speculations mount that Al Hilal might submit a third bid for Osimhen, Napoli’s stance remains resolute. Club president De Laurentiis affirmed that the Partenopei have no intention of parting ways with their prized forward.
“Osimhen will stay here. He won’t leave,” De Laurentiis asserted during an interview with Sky Sports.
With Osimhen’s contract extending until June 2025, Napoli’s stance is grounded in the principle of honoring contractual agreements.
