Tinubu meets Akpabio, Abba Moro, others at Presidential Villa
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a closed-door meeting with the extended leadership of the Senate at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Sources indicated that far-reaching decisions were taken during the high-level engagement, which focused on issues described as urgent national priorities, although details of the resolutions were not immediately disclosed.
The Senate delegation was led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and included Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro.
Other lawmakers at the meeting were Orji Uzor Kalu (Abia North), Adamu Aliero (Kebbi Central), Danjuma Goje (Gombe Central), and Abdul Ningi (Bauchi Central).
The meeting underscores ongoing consultations between the executive and legislative arms on critical national matters.
