Tinubu wins all 23 LGAs in Benue APC presidential primary with 375,507 votes
President Bola Tinubu recorded a landslide victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election held in Benue State, securing 375,507 votes.
Governor Hyacinth Alia announced the outcome on Saturday at the state collation centre in Makurdi, revealing that Tinubu defeated his sole opponent, Stanley Osifo, who polled 779 votes.
Alia stated that the president emerged victorious across all 23 local government areas of the state during the exercise.
The governor also maintained that the election was conducted in line with all laid down procedures and guidelines guiding the primary.
“I, Hyacinth Alia, State Collation Officer, hereby certify that the information contained in this form represents a true, correct and accurate record of the summary of results from the local governments in Benue, and I so sign it.
“So, by virtue of the votes cast, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged as the winner in Benue,” he said.
