U-17 WWC: Flamingos fail to qualify for final after 6-5 defeat to Colombia
The Nigeria U-17 female team also known as Flamingos on Wednesday failed to book their place in the finals of the on going world cup in India after losing to Colombia.
The Flamingos lost 6-5 on penalties after the 90 minutes ended in a deadlock.
Edafe had the chance to shoot the Nigerians into the finals with a golden opportunity but was denied by the woodwork.
The Colombians now await the outcome of the match between Spain and Germany to know their opponent in the finals .
