Manchester United Superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo in an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan has opened up on his relationship with Erik Ten Hag.

The former Real Madrid star revealed that he’s not in a good term with United’s coach, Erik Ten Hag.

“I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.” Ronaldo said to Piers Morgan on Sunday.

Ronaldo was axed from Manchester United’s squad after storming down the tunnel before full-time against Tottenham in a Premier League game.

Speaking at a news conference after the win against Tottenham, Erik Ten Hag said Ronaldo refused to come on as a late substitute when asked by journalists.

The five-time Ballon D’Or winner was heavily criticised for his stunt against Tottenham Hotspur. He took to his Instagram page to address his actions and inactions that caused much controversy.

The Portuguese striker was left out of United’s squad that face Chelsea the following week. He returned to United’s first-team training after serving his punishment for storming out of the 2-0 win against Tottenham.

Ronaldo has missed United’s two last game. The Carabao Cup win against Aston Villa and the premier league win against Fulham.
