2 killed, many injured as Apostolic church bus rams into bulldozer in Akwa Ibom (Photos)

There was a horrible scene yesterday in Akwa Ibom State as a bus carrying a group of church Choristers involved in a ghastly accident.

Reports from Ibom News Blog reveals that the accident involving Choristers of one Apostolic Church in the state occurred in the late hours of Wednesday evening.

The Choristers were identified to be members of Apostolic Church in Oron Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State who were returning from the burial of a church member at Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

According to the reports gathered by this reporter, the terrible accident occurred when the bus carrying the Choristers ran into a WE construction Company dozer machine packed by the side of the road at the Ekene Ukpa Bridge. The eighteen-seatter bus was completely crushed with the Choristers Inside.

Sadly, as at the time this report was compiled, two female Choristers were identified dead at the spot while several others sustained serious injuries.
