A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Obidike Chukwuebuka, has cautioned Nigerian youths against working against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, warning that such actions would be “unpatriotic and spiritually dangerous.”

Speaking on Tuesday, Obidike argued that Tinubu has demonstrated unprecedented commitment to youth development through appointments, reforms, and empowerment initiatives.

“President Tinubu has shown more concern and action for Nigerian youths than any other leader in recent history. He gave young people real hope, not just in words but through concrete policies and appointments. God will not forgive any youth who, out of ignorance or mischief, decides to sabotage this vision,” he said.

The APC stalwart highlighted the president’s inclusion of young Nigerians in strategic positions, naming Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim; Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande; NASENI Executive Vice Chairman, Khalil Halilu; FIRS Chairman, Zacch Adedeji; and NSIPA National Coordinator, Delu Bulus Yakubu.

He further cited key youth-focused policies such as the Student Loan Act and the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, aimed at training three million young Nigerians in digital and tech skills by 2027.

Obidike urged youths to remain patriotic and resist partisan manipulation, stressing that Tinubu’s approach to governance treats young Nigerians as “leaders, not political tools.”
