1. Stakeholders and members of the All Progressive Congress in Zamfara State have called for an end to banditry and insecurity as a condition for them to vote for the presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and other candidates vying for electoral positions.
Their position was clarified on Wednesday evening during the fact-finding tour of a delegation from APC North West to all the seven states in the geopolitical zone.
2. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, have described the death of the Secretary-General, Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, Mohammed Barkindo, as a loss to the nation.
In a statement yesterday by his media office, the former Lagos State governor noted that the sudden death of the global oil chief at a time the country was preparing to celebrate his monumental achievements in OPEC ahead of the end of his second tenure in July is heartbreaking.
3. Some Nigerians in the United Kingdom and the United State have said they are preparing to receive the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The National Chairman of South West East North of Nigeria Initiative (SOWENON) Dr Sam Jenfa, who disclosed this in a statement, said preparations have reached an advanced stage with the appropriate authorities to ensure that his visit is hitch-free.

A former chairman of the Northern States Christian Elders Forum (NOSCEF) and member of the National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF), Evangelist Matthew Owojaiye, has said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, riskedlosing over 50 million Christian votes if he picked a Muslim running mate for the 2023 elections.
According to him, since Nigeria is sharply divided along ethnic and religious lines, a Muslim- Muslim ticket or Christian-Christian ticket by any politician would further undermine the unity of the country.
5. Ahead of 2022 Osun State governorship election, the Coalition of Support Groups for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (COSGABAT) has deployed about 300 groups to rally support for the success of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola during July 16 election.
The leadership of the coalition during a press conference held at the Osun State All Progressives Congress, APC, on Thursday vowed that Oyetola is a goal getter and must be re-elected to to continue his good work.
6. The deputy governor of Oyo State, Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan and two of his predecessors, among whom are Chief Iyiola Oladokun and Moses Alake Adeyemo have pledged to support the candidature of the duo of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin.
The All Progressives Congress chieftains made this known during after a closed-door meeting held on Thursday in Ibadan.
7. A group loyal to the governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, under the platform of GYB Network 4 Asiwaju, has assured the national leadership of Tinubu Support Groups (TSO) of its readiness to deliver the state 100 per cent for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group gave the assurance when the Kogi state coordinator of GYB Network 4 Asiwaju, Haddy Ametuo, visited the national coordinator of TSO in Abuja, Hon Jame Faleke.
8. Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat has Nigerian in Saudi Arabia to pray for peace in Nigeria and success of the All Progressive Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 2023 presidential election noting that any good nation must have a good leader to develop it.
The Deputy Governor, who also charged the pilgrims to be good ambassadors and shun any act capable of portraying the state and country in bad light as they embark on holy pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
