After a five-year wait, Big Brother is set to make a comeback tonight with an ITV reboot, bringing housemates back in front of 24/7 cameras. The iconic reality show, which began in 2000 and ran for twenty seasons, is making a return, promising a renewed social experiment.

Originally airing on Channel 4 and later moving to Channel 5 in August 2011 until its conclusion in 2018, Big Brother played a pivotal role in launching the careers of TV personalities such as Rylan Clark, Alison Hammond, and Josie Gibson. The show was previously hosted by Davina McCall and Emma Willis, and the reboot will now be hosted by Will Best and AJ Odudu. A teaser clip showcasing the new hosts in action was recently shared by ITV.

However, former contestant and Big Brother host Rylan Clark will not be part of this ITV reboot. During an interview with Loose Women, Rylan expressed his disappointment at not being asked to return for the revival.

For many fans, the return of Big Brother brings back familiar memories of the diary room and the iconic narrator Marcus Bentley’s voice. Stay tuned for live updates on Big Brother 2023.
