Lagos PDP chairman, party leaders kidnapped on Lagos-Ibadan expressway

Armed individuals have taken the Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Philip Aivoji, and several other party leaders captive.
The abduction reportedly occurred in the Ogere area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Thursday. Philip, along with fellow party members, was allegedly kidnapped on their way back from the party’s Stakeholders’ Zonal Caucus Meeting in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Unnamed sources informed our correspondent that the abductors are requesting a ransom of N200 million for the release of the party leaders.
