Renowned academic and former university administrator, Professor Yakubu Aboki Ochefu, has been elected President-General of Ochetoha K’Idoma, the foremost socio-cultural body representing the Idoma Nation.

His emergence was announced during the organisation’s 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Otukpo over the weekend, drawing delegates from across Nigeria and the diaspora.

The development marks a new chapter in the Forum’s efforts to address escalating insecurity, youth unemployment, and the erosion of cultural identity across Idoma land.
