Three brothers — James Oche, Paul Oche, and Joseph Oche — together with their spouses, have been elevated to the exalted Knighthood of the Anglican Communion Church of Nigeria under the Order of Saint Christopher.

In a solemn and spirit-filled celebration held at the Anglican Communion Cathedral Church of St. John, Diocese of Otukpo, and superintended by the Rt. Revd Benjamin Enwuchola, Diocesan Bishop of Otukpo, the brothers were formally invested into the knighthood of the church.

The investiture formed part of activities marking the 50th Anniversary of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) in Nigeria. Mr. James Oche, who serves as the Honourable Federal Commissioner in charge of the Commission in Benue State, had earlier led staff of the Commission on an awareness walk on 16th October, 2025, in commemoration of the Commission’s Golden Jubilee.

Explaining the significance of the investiture, Rt. Revd Benjamin Enwuchola said the recognition was in appreciation of the Oche family’s unwavering commitment to the growth of the church and the propagation of the gospel in Nigeria. He noted that with their confirmation as Knights, the family had been further armed with the church’s blessings to defend the faith and uphold its virtues.

Reacting to the honour, Mr. James Oche described it as an unprecedented privilege bestowed upon their family by the church. He pledged, on behalf of his brothers, their continued commitment to the work of God and the service of the church.

The event was graced by prominent personalities from various walks of life, including management staff of the Benue State Office of the Public Complaints Commission, led by Mr. Kpaakpa Terkura, Acting Director of Investigation, and Mrs. Ene Lucy, Deputy Director of Investigation.
