Senator Moro, in his response, said he was very grateful to the forum for the visit.

“I’m grateful that you are here to sympathize with me. I want to let you know that party politics should never divide us. I’m your senator, so feel free to talk to me always. “There’s a time for everything; it’s my turn to be senator today, and I will not be on the stage forever. For now, I only covet your prayers and support.

“I appreciate all of you, and I pray that our unity will continue to work for our collective good. Thank you for coming,” the senator added.

On his part, the National President of the Ichama Unity Forum, Engr. John Adoyi Ochigbo, said the elite socio-cultural organization of the Ichama people was deeply pained and sorrowful over the tragic incident.

“We can only imagine the depth of your grief at this moment. In such times, words often fall short, but please know that we stand with you in prayer and unwavering solidarity, trusting that God will grant you and your family the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear this great loss,” he stated.

The Chairman of Ojigo-Edumoga, Abuja Branch, and National President of Akpali Development Association Worldwide, Andrew Ameh and Ododo Inalegwu Edwin, respectively, said they received the news of the incidents with shock and prayed God to comfort Senator Moro and his family.

Senator Moro thanked all those who came to sympathize with him. He said he was humbled by the show of love and support by Nigerians, stating that he’s greatly encouraged.

“I feel humbled by the love and support from Nigerians from all walks of life. I appreciate you all for coming, and may this calamity not befall any family. Thank you,” he added.
