The Acting governor disclosed that a meeting of major stakeholders in the area shall be convened to examine the rising cases of kidnapping and killings in the area with a view to addressing them.

Receiving the Acting governor, Chief Amaabai expressed shock at the sudden and unexplained murder of his first son, who was killed on his way home from Gboko.
He thanked Engr Abounu for the visit and for his show of leadership and love. He also praised the security agents in Gboko for their quick response when the incident was reported to them.
