The Turaki–led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has formally issued and dispatched expulsion certificates to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and other top members accused of anti-party activities.

The certificates were issued after the faction ratified their removal during its National Convention in Ibadan.

The Turaki group said the decision was taken to restore discipline and protect the party’s integrity amid widening internal rifts.

Those expelled include Nyesom Wike, Ayo Fayose, Samuel Anyanwu, Umar Bature, Kamaldeen Ajibade (SAN), Mao Ohuabunwa, George Turner, Austin Nwachukwu, Abraham Amah, Mohammed Abdulrahman and Chief Dan Orbih.

Providing an update on the process, the faction revealed that all expulsion certificates have been transmitted to the affected individuals through courier services.

Officials confirmed that the certificate for Mr. Austin Nwachukwu had already been dispatched, while that of Abraham Amah was also sent via courier.

The certificate for George Turner was similarly forwarded, with the faction noting that several of the expelled members may have already received theirs.

The final certificate, belonging to Chief Dan Orbih, was also sent through courier services.
