Activist Aisha Yesufu has stated that unseating President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election will be far less difficult than the effort made in 2023.

Her comment aligns with increasing public criticism of the current administration, suggesting that dissatisfaction among citizens may intensify as the next election draws closer.

Yesufu, a prominent voice during the 2023 election cycle, has remained outspoken on issues of governance, accountability, and civic participation.

Sharing her thoughts on X, she wrote: God willing, defeating Tinubu in 2027 will be far easier than it was defeating him in 2023.”

Her remarks came shortly after African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain, Dele Momodu, also expressed optimism about the party’s chances in the 2027 race.

Momodu argued that with influential political figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, the ADC has what it takes to “topple” Tinubu in the next election.
