Ali Khamenei: Gumi, other terrorist sympathizers in Nigeria are crying – Adeyanju
Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has taken a swipe at controversial cleric Ahmad Gumi in the wake of the reported death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
Adeyanju ridiculed Gumi, branding him a sympathizer of terrorism and suggesting that he and others who shared similar views were in mourning.
Khamenei, 86, was said to have died on Saturday following coordinated air raids allegedly conducted by Israel and the United States.
The strikes reportedly formed part of a broader military offensive targeting key locations in Tehran.
In his reaction, Gumi described the late Iranian leader as “a lucky soul” who “died in jihad.”
According to him, Khamenei lost his life “in jihad against killers of innocent children and women in Gaza and elsewhere.”
He further stated that the Iranian leader’s blood “will fuel the change in the ummah,” adding that Khamenei remained steadfast in his pursuit of justice and did not retreat into hiding.
Responding via his X account, Adeyanju wrote: “Gumi and other terrorist sympathizers in Nigeria are crying, the demon of Iran is gone.
“Iran makes too much noise for such a weak and defenseless country. Why is their airspace so weak like this? US announced it will attack Iran and still they couldn’t stop all these explosions.
“Why was it so easy for US and Israel to kill the demon of Iran? And why do Israel and US have easy access to Iranian airspace to be attacking them at will after all the noise Iran makes all the time?”
