BREAKING: Several US military warplanes crash in Kuwait
Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense confirmed on Monday that “several United States military aircraft crashed”, adding that all crew members survived.
The announcement follows videos geolocated by CNN showing a fighter jet crashing in Kuwait, with a pilot seen parachuting safely to the ground. CNN has contacted US Central Command for comment.
“Relevant authorities immediately initiated search-and-rescue operations,” said Col. Said Al-Atwan, spokesperson for Kuwait’s defense ministry. “The crews were evacuated from the crash sites, transferred to hospitals for assessment, and provided with necessary medical care.”
The ministry stated that all crew members are in stable condition and that Kuwait is maintaining direct coordination with US authorities regarding the incident.
