The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced its petrol price after Dangote Refinery announced a cut in its gantry price.

Filling stations in Abuja and surrounding areas lowered the pump price to N1,165 per liter on Wednesday, down from N1,260 per liter on Tuesday—a reduction of N95 per liter.

The revised price has been applied at NNPCL outlets in Jabi, Lifecamp, Wuse Zone 5, and Zone 4, while Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) is now sold at N1,535 per liter.

Other major filling stations, including NIPCO, AP, and AA Rano, are now dispensing petrol at N1,195, N1,200, and N1,223 per liter, respectively.

A manager at MRS filling station, who asked not to be named, confirmed that the retail outlet will raise petrol prices slightly to N1,167 per liter from Thursday.
