Gunmen abduct 24-year-old herder in Otukpo, demand N4m ransom
A 24-year-old Fulani cattle rearer, Ibrahim Isah, has been kidnapped by suspected armed bandits in Benue State.
The incident occurred on March 18 when the victim was tending to his herd around Ondudaje Village in Otukpo Local Government Area.
The attackers later reached out to his relatives using his phone, demanding a ₦4 million ransom to be paid into a Moniepoint account.
In response, security operatives, including the Otukpo patrol team and other tactical units, have begun combing nearby forests in a bid to locate the assailants, secure the victim’s release, and make arrests.
