APC Disqualifies Over 20 Benue Assembly Aspirants Ahead of Primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Benue State chapter, has released the report of its State House of Assembly Screening Committee, disqualifying over 20 aspirants from participating in the party’s primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the committee, the affected aspirants were screened out over alleged non-compliance with the party’s constitution and guidelines governing the nomination process.

The APC urged all affected aspirants to accept the outcome of the screening exercise in good faith and called on party members to remain united as preparations intensify for the 2027 elections.

The report was jointly signed by the committee chairman, Dr. Auwalu Ishiye, and the secretary, Barr. Tijani Abdullahi.

The disqualified aspirants include:
