Benue Deputy Speaker Lami Ogenyi congratulates Gov Alia on APC Governorship primary victory

The Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chief Mrs. Lami Danladi Ogenyi, has congratulated Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, following his victory at the just concluded All Progressives Congress governorship primary election held across the state.

In a statement issued by her Press Secretary, Agbaji Samuel Atsonwu, the Deputy Speaker described Governor Alia’s victory as a reflection of the trust, goodwill, and confidence the people of Benue State have in his leadership and commitment to the development of the state.

Rt. Hon. Ogenyi noted that the outcome of the primary election demonstrates the acceptance of the governor’s policies and developmental strides across key sectors in Benue State.

She added that the victory has further strengthened the people’s confidence in democratic governance, continuity, and purposeful leadership.

The Deputy Speaker also called on Benue people, both at home and in the diaspora, to continue supporting Governor Alia in his efforts to deliver more dividends of democracy and sustainable development across the state.
