BREAKING: NFF appoints Taribo West as Super Eagles Head Coach

Taribo West has been appointed as the new coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

His appointment followed the sack of the Austin Egavuoen-led technical crew.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the decision to appoint West was taken at a close-door meeting on Thursday night.

Taribo would be assisted by Joseph Yobo and Ifeanyi Udeze.

However, when IDOMA VOICE contacted Taribo for comment, he said he was not aware of the appointment.

“You dey whine me ni, abi you think say i no know say today na April fool?”

He said the report might have been an April fool pranks concocted by bloggers to fool their readers.

He warned that Nigerians should not swallow everything they see online today hook, line and sinker.
