Benue PDP governorship primaries: Live updates from Makurdi
The primary election to produce the next governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Benue State is ongoing, IDOMA VOICE reports.
Six persons are currently in the race for the sole ticket of the ruling party in the state but the race has been narrowed down to just two persons.
They are Titus Uba from Vandeikya Local Government Area and the current Deputy Governor of the State, Engr. Benson Abounu, who hailed from Otukpo LGA.
2:00pm At the moment, voting has been concluded and sorting is currently all ongoing.
2:40: Uba pick first local govt area sorted. His opponent, Benson Abounu got 3 votes while Uba pocketed the rest.
