The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has unveiled Grace Oluwatobi Coker as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election.

Coker will contest alongside the party’s governorship candidate, Prince Laja Adeoye, as the APM seeks to win the state’s top political office in the 2027 elections.

Following her emergence, Coker expressed appreciation to the party for the confidence placed in her, describing the nomination as both an honour and a significant responsibility.

She thanked God, the leadership of the APM, party members, supporters and residents of Lagos State for their support and trust.

The deputy governorship candidate also expressed gratitude to Adeoye for choosing her as his running mate, describing him as her leader, mentor and principal. She pledged to work closely with him in advancing the party’s vision for Lagos State.

Coker reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the governorship candidate and mobilising efforts to secure victory for the APM in the 2027 governorship election.

She equally acknowledged the contributions of the party’s leadership at the national, state, local government, ward and polling unit levels, as well as other stakeholders and candidates, for their encouragement and continued support.

She also commended members of the campaign team, volunteers and party supporters for their dedication, sacrifices and prayers, noting that their commitment would play a vital role in the party’s electoral success.

Coker further appreciated her family, friends and associates for their unwavering support throughout her political journey.

She extended special appreciation to the people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, her home constituency, and residents across Lagos State for believing in her, assuring them that she would justify the confidence reposed in her.

Reaffirming her loyalty to the Allied Peoples Movement, Coker pledged to work hand in hand with Adeoye, the party leadership and members to deliver victory at the 2027 governorship election.

According to her, the APM is offering Lagosians “a new direction anchored on purposeful leadership, accountability, inclusion and sustainable development.”

She also prayed for divine wisdom and guidance as the party intensifies preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
