Simon Ekpa, a prominent Biafra agitator and self-proclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government, has urged the Igbo community to disregard recent reports circulating about a purported letter from Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The Finland-based lawyer made this declaration on Friday, clarifying that the letter is a fabrication and not from Nnamdi Kanu.

The reports in question alleged that Nnamdi Kanu had directed Simon Ekpa to cease criticizing the southeast governors. However, Ekpa has categorically stated that the letter is entirely false, dismissing it as the work of mischief-makers who are opposed to the liberation of Biafra.

Emphasizing his unwavering stance on the matter, Simon Ekpa reiterated his call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, asserting that this is crucial for lasting peace in the southeast region of Nigeria. He firmly denounced the attempts to misrepresent the views and intentions of the IPOB leader, emphasizing that the alleged letter is nothing more than a baseless fabrication.

“Our attention has been drawn to the fake letter from the pit of hell being paraded by Nigerian media claiming that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wrote a letter. It is not only a joke but an insult taken too far that the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra is being misrepresented in this way. As the Prime Minister of Biafra under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I call on all Biafrans to disregard the fake letter coming from DSS,” Ekpa stated.
