Boko Haram tells new Chief of Defence Staff, Irabor to convert to Islam or….

Abubakar Shekau, leader of Boko Haram, has reacted to the appointment of new Service Chiefs.

Shekau declared that the new Service Chiefs can not do better than their predecessors in the fight against insurgency.

The Boko Haram leader made the declaration in his latest audio where he spoke on the retirement of the immediate past Service Chiefs.

Shekau called the new Service Chiefs to repent because they can not do anything to destroy his terror gang.

He said: “Leo Irabor, the head of the military, you should have sympathy for yourself, repent and convert to Islam. There is nothing you can do.”

Shekau said the Chief of Army Staff, Maj-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru should not ”deceive” himself because he has a Muslim background.

“Even if you are Muslim but you conduct polytheistic practices, you are no longer a Muslim,” Shekau said.
