George Akume’s wife joins Gboko/Tarka House of Reps race in Benue

Former First Lady of Benue State, Mrs Regina Akume has joined the House of Reps Race for Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency.

She is gunning for the seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Her husband, George Akume was a two-term governor of Benue State, two term senator in Benue Zone A and currently a federal minister under the Muhammadu Buhari led administration.
Her decision to join the race has been greeted with mixed reactions.
