Governor Alia and Vice President Shettima convened at the Nigeria Airforce Base in Makurdi, Benue State, for a momentous occasion. The event saw the induction of two advanced Fighter Aircrafts, marking a significant step in bolstering the nation’s security apparatus.

Representing President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima pledged heightened security measures to tackle emerging threats. He inaugurated the T139 Attack Helicopter and King Air 360ER Beech Fighter Aircraft, highlighting their pivotal role in addressing various security challenges including kidnapping, armed banditry, terrorism, and oil theft. Shettima expressed confidence in the capabilities of the newly acquired air fleet to effectively combat criminal activities.

The ceremony featured a thrilling display of aerial maneuvers by the T139 Attack Helicopter, King Air 360ER, Tiger, and Thunder Fighter Aircrafts, leaving the audience spellbound. Dignitaries such as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon.
