I dumped my girlfriend of three years for refusing to join ‘Okanga Sisters’ – Singer TuNice

Popular entertainer and “Okanga 4+4” crooner, Dany TuNice, has claimed that he ended his relationship with his girlfriend of three years after she refused to identify with the “Okanga Sisters” movement.

The singer, also known as Okanga Celebrity, said his former girlfriend’s refusal to join the movement, which supports the political aspirations of House of Representatives member, Philip Agbese, became a major point of disagreement between them.

According to Dany TuNice, his support for Agbese goes beyond entertainment, insisting that he expects those close to him to respect his political convictions.

Speaking on the breakup, the entertainer said: “I dumped my girlfriend of three years because she refused to join Okanga Sisters. I cannot be singing Okanga 4+4 and the person closest to me does not believe in what I stand for.”

He added: “This is not just about music for me. Okanga Sisters is a movement supporting Philip Agbese. If you are with me, you should understand what I represent and what I believe in politically.”

Dany TuNice said the decision was difficult because of the length of the relationship, but maintained that he was unwilling to compromise on an issue he considered important.

The development has brought fresh attention to the growing political activities surrounding Agbese ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Agbese, popularly known as Okanga, represents Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency and has over the years built political support groups around his political activities.

The “Okanga Sisters” is one of the movements identified by Dany TuNice as supporting the lawmaker.

Dany TuNice has also used his music to promote the political movement, with his “Okanga 4+4” song projecting support for Agbese.

His claim that a three-year relationship ended over his girlfriend’s refusal to join the movement is expected to generate reactions, particularly among his followers and political supporters in Benue South.

The identity of the former girlfriend was not immediately disclosed, and her own account of the breakup was unavailable at the time of filing this report.
