Cristiano Ronaldo makes another attempt to force Chelsea move

It seems Cristiano Ronaldo is hell bent on forcing a move away from Manchester United this summer, and the 37-year-old wouldn’t mind a move to Chelsea.

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo was expected to return for pre-season on Monday but was absent.

The 37 year old told the club he won’t be able to return for pre-season on Monday due to family reasons and was granted permission by the club.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted at Portugal’s training ground on Monday after failing to turn up for pre-season with Manchester United.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed for the second day in a row that Cristiano Ronaldo has missed training with Manchester United.

Ronaldo has reportedly told his agent Jorge Mendes to find him a new club.

Ronaldo wants to play in the Champions League next season, and with Manchester United set to play Europa League football, the Portugal legend isn’t keen on that.

According to reports, the Portuguese star is said to be disappointed with Manchester United’s performance last season, and also the club’s lack of ambitions.

Chelsea and Barcelona are so far the two top sides to have been linked with a move for Ronaldo.

Chelsea new owner Todd Boehly has been seen with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes, which has further triggered the rumours.

If Cristiano Ronaldo does make the move to Chelsea, his transfer to a rival club may burn the love that Manchester United fans have for him.
