Democracy Day: Adejoh congratulates Nigeria, urges Nigerians to get their PVCs

An aAbuja-based businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Peter Adejoh, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day.

Dr. Adejoh stated this in a press statement, he personally signed and made available to newsmen in abuja.

He commended Nigerians for ushering in an era of a government of the people by the people, and for the people 23 years ago.

The business mogul stated that democracy is the best system of government, and urged Nigerians to continue to improve on the nation’s democracy.

While counting the gains of the last 23 years, Adejoh commended all past and present leaders of the country at all levels for sustaining democracy in the country.

He also congratulated the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Titus Uba for strengthening the institutions of democracy,describing Governor Ortom as one of the heroes of our democracy.

Dr. Adejoh also used the occasion to call on all Nigerians who are yet to get their voters card to take advantage of the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to be eligible to vote in next year’s general election.
