EFCC nabs 16 suspected internet fraudsters in Kaduna

The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has successfully detained sixteen individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud at the fifth Chucker Polo Club in Marabban Jos, Kaduna, Kaduna state.
The arrests, which took place on Thursday, December 27, 2023, were executed based on actionable intelligence pointing to their alleged involvement in internet-related offenses.
The suspects, consisting of thirteen males and three females, have been identified as Bello Abiodun, Abraham Adama, Shedrack Bisola, Friday Markus, Ransom Joash Destiny, Joshua Winner, Samuel Shehu, John Daniel, and Christian Righteous.
Additional individuals apprehended include Godwin Dikko, Ogochukwu Ijeh, Bilbert Sabo, Akosa Joshua, Precious Yohanna, Joy Righteous, and Samuel Ruth. During the operation, mobile phones and laptops were confiscated from the suspects.
Upon the completion of investigations, the suspects will be promptly brought to court to face charges.
