Court grants Blessing CEO N20m bail, orders NIS to enforce travel restrictions
Controversial Nigerian self-styled relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has been granted bail of N20 million by a Lagos State Special Offences Court, six weeks after she was remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
The court granted the bail on Thursday in her ongoing N69.15 million property fraud trial and ordered the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) to enforce restrictions on her international travel pending the determination of the case.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had, on June 9, 2026, arraigned Blessing CEO on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretences and stealing.
The EFCC alleged that she fraudulently obtained N69.15 million from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited in March 2025 under the pretext of securing a lease for a property in the Lekki area of Lagos.
She, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
In his ruling, Justice Rahman Oshodi granted her bail with two sureties in the same amount. The judge also ordered each surety to provide proof of a three-year deposit history showing funds worth N20 million.
The court adjourned the matter until October 12, 2026, for continuation of trial.
