The Federal Government has unveiled the official portal for the forthcoming National Youth Conference, signaling a major step in its drive to promote inclusive youth participation in policy development nationwide.

The website  https://nationalyouthconfab.gov.ng — will serve as the central platform for registration, updates, engagement, and access to information regarding the multi-stage conference slated for later this year.

Speaking at the launch in Abuja, the Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, emphasized that the conference will feature broad-based consultations, including diaspora engagements, constituency-level dialogues, zonal meetings, and a final national session in the Federal Capital Territory.

“The Confab is a chance for young Nigerians to shift from protest to policy, from problems to solutions,” Olawande said, highlighting the initiative’s focus on six thematic areas: governance, economic empowerment, education, innovation, climate change, and inclusion.

Also present at the launch was the Chairman of the National Planning Committee and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Olubunmi Olusanya, who described the new website as a “digital gateway” designed to ensure seamless registration and participation from youths in all 360 federal constituencies, including the diaspora.

He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for initiating the conference and commended Minister Olawande’s leadership in pushing forward a bold youth development agenda.

The National Youth Conference is expected to enhance transparency, encourage innovation, and foster sustainable, youth-led solutions for national progress.
