How Governor Alia’s aide, Mkor Aondona allegedly blackmailed female students with secret s3x tapes – EFCC

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Makurdi Zonal Directorate, have arrested Dr. Mkor Aondona, the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Benue State on Documentation, Research, and Planning, over serious allegations of sextortion and cyberbullying.

Dr. Aondona was apprehended on Friday, June 20, 2025, in Makurdi, following multiple petitions from female students who accused him of sexual exploitation, online harassment, and blackmail.

According to the petitioners, Aondona allegedly lured slim and attractive young women with promises of ushering jobs, demanding sexual favors as a prerequisite for selection.

The victims reported that he secretly recorded the sexual encounters without their consent and later used the footage to threaten and coerce them into continued sexual relations.

Further allegations reveal that the suspect distributed some of these explicit videos, allegedly recorded without the victims’ knowledge, through various messaging platforms. Some of the content is reportedly already in circulation.

The EFCC has confirmed that the suspect is in custody and will be formally charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
