I don tire – 2Baba reacts to reports of arrest in London after alleged fiight with his new wife, Natasha
Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has debunked viral claims suggesting that he was arrested in London.
The rumours, first spread by a controversial blogger, alleged that the singer had an altercation with his wife, Natasha, and was detained on allegations of domestic violence. It was further claimed that his absence from a scheduled UK tour performance on Thursday was linked to the supposed arrest.
Reacting to the speculations, 2Baba clarified that he missed the show due to a medical emergency, not because of any arrest. He also expressed gratitude to fans who turned up for the event, assuring them of a rescheduled performance.
“First of all, I want to say everyone that came out, I appreciate you. We had a medical emergency, it was tough. To the organizers and everyone that came out, we go regroup and make something beautiful happen. And please, if una no sabi something, make una no talk abeg. This allegedly, I don tire,” the singer said.
