‘I saw a dead vulture on my bed after winning election’ — Okpebholo

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has recounted how he allegedly found a dead vulture on his bed after winning the governorship election.

The governor shared the experience while addressing members of a church, claiming that another bird also died in his office after he ordered the demolition of the Black House in Sapele.

Okpebholo said he returned home exhausted after days without sleep following his election victory. According to him, something stopped him as he attempted to jump onto his bed.

“When I won the election, we went home. I was tired and had not slept for days. I wanted to jump onto the bed, but something held me back,” he said.

“I looked at the bed and saw a dead vulture on it.”

The governor described the incident as a sign of victory, suggesting that it had spiritual significance.
