The former Senator representing Kaduna Central at the Red Chamber, Shehu Sani, has called on the federal government to invite Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho to help drive Boko Haram terrorists from Sambisa forest.

IDOMA VOICE recalls that Igboho has vowed to chase all Fulani herdsmen out of Yorubaland.

The anti-Fulani movement started at Igangan in Ibarapa LGA of Oyo State where he led some youths to eject herdsmen from the community.

Similarly, he was at Yewa LGA on Monday where he told the people that Fulani herdsmen in the area must leave.

Reacting, Sani believes that Igboho could help end terrorism in the country, particularly northeast.

He said the activist should be invited to help flush out Boko Haram sect from the dreaded Sambisa forest in Borno.

He tweeted Tuesday evening: “Invite Sunday to help drive away BH from Sambisa.”

The Sambisa Forest is a forest in Borno State, northeast Nigeria. It is in the southwestern part of Chad Basin National Park, about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.

The Sambisa forest, especially the mountainous region of Gwoza near the Cameroon border, is used as shelter by the jihadist Boko Haram group and is believed to be where they keep the hostages from the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapping in April 2014
