Meet Idoma-born Barr. Queen Oyibo Okpe who is contesting for Vice Chairman AMAC-FCT

Hon. Barr. Queen Oyibo Okpe was born in Nigeria on 27th June 1989 to the family of late Isp. Julius Brown Ogidi from Ogbochai in Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State. She acquired her first school leaving certificate from Happy Home Nursery/primary School Makurdi, the Benue State Capital, in 1998. She then proceeded to the prestigious Our Lady of Mount Carmel College Makurdi, Benue State for her secondary school education and graduated in 2004.


Brilliant and academically well-accomplished; Barr. Okpe has a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B.) degree from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, where she graduated in 2011. She did her youth service in Abeokuta, Ogun State in 2013. And was called to the Nigerian Bar as an advocate and solicitor of the supreme Court in 2016. She is a certified Mediator.


She is many things rolled into one; a beautiful and caring mother, a legal luminary, a women and girlchild rights activist, social justice advocator, youths mobilizer, serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and an egalitarian politician.


She is presently the Head Solicitor of Oyis & Oyis Firm, and the managing Director of Pearl Canny Nig Ltd. She’s also the Deputy National secretary Allied People’s Movement (APM) under whose platform she is contesting for the Vice Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council Federal Capital Territory (AMAC-FCT). She is the running mate of Hon. Bayero Shehu Ibrahim.
