The administration of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has affirmed its commitment to constructing roads across all 23 local government areas within the state. Speaking during a Thanksgiving Mass and reception held in his honor in Tse Agberagba, Governor Alia highlighted plans to initiate road construction projects, with particular focus on key routes such as the Vandeikya-Korinya-Tse-Agberagba-Gungul-Awajir and Ge-Ikyobo-Agbeede-Anshagba-Iber roads.

In response to inquiries about developmental strategies for the people of Jechira, Governor Alia emphasized the pivotal role of Jechira within the state and assured that comprehensive infrastructural and economic initiatives would encompass the region. Specifically, plans for road connectivity between Vandeikya and Konshisha Local Governments were outlined, with further extensions anticipated to encompass Gwer East and segments of Ushongo Local Government. This concerted effort aims to link four local government areas through two major roads.

Regarding development plans for other zones, including ‘Zone C’, Governor Alia reiterated the administration’s commitment to equitable distribution of resources and infrastructure. He assured that within the next month, significant road infrastructure projects would be unveiled across the entire state, emphasizing that all 23 local government areas would benefit from these initiatives. This comprehensive approach underscores the administration’s dedication to inclusive development and progress for all citizens.
