Real Madrid are showing strong interest in securing Brighton head coach, Roberto de Zerbi, as their next manager once Carlo Ancelotti departs from Santiago Bernabeu.

Ancelotti appears to be on track to leave Real Madrid for a second time at the conclusion of the ongoing 2023/24 season.

Several names have been floated as potential candidates to succeed the Italian, including Bayer Leverkusen’s manager and former Real Madrid midfielder, Xabi Alonso.

However, as per reports from Cadena, Real Madrid is determined to make a compelling offer to entice De Zerbi to assume the managerial role at Santiago Bernabeu.

De Zerbi took the reins at Brighton last season, succeeding Graham Potter, and made the move to the Premier League club after parting ways with Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk.

At 44 years old, De Zerbi swiftly won over Brighton fans with his captivating and positive football style, guiding the Seagulls to a remarkable sixth-place finish in the Premier League last season and securing their inaugural qualification for European football.
