Senator Abba Moro condemns Otukpo-Gwer crisis, sues for peace

The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, condemns, in strong terms, the crisis that erupted between the people of Opa-Adoka, in Otukpo LGA, and their Tiv neighbours in Gwer-West LGA.

Senator Moro says the clash is unfortunate, coming at a time when the two communities are expected to unite together and form a strong force against external aggressors.

The Senator sues for peace and enjoins the communities to learn to live peacefully together for development and progress. He advises the warring parties to cease hostilities and embrace dialogue to find a lasting solution to the problem.
