Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel on Thursday broke the ground for the building of what would be the largest church auditorium in the world.

The proposed building, named The Ark, when completed would have the capacity to contain 1006,000 people.

This will break the record already set by Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja with 1000,000 capacity Glory Dome.

Interestingly, Dr. Paul Enenche of Dunamis is one of the spiritual sons of Bishop Oyedepo.

Speaking during ground breaking ceremony, Bishop Oyedepo said the Ark project is just a glimpse into God’s agenda for the end-time church.

In their separate speeches, Pastor David Ibiyiome of Salvation Ministry, Port Harcourt and Dr. Paul Enenche of Dunamis, Abuja, eulogized Bishop Oyedepo for always setting the pace and breaking new grounds.

They described him as a pacesetter, trailblazer and a rod pointer

The event was attended by renowned clerics such as Pastor Korede Komaiya of The Master’s Place International Church of the Prophet, Pastor Daniel Onuoha of National Evangelism Christian Outreach, among others.
