Tiktoker Peller hospitalised after car crash during livestream
Popular TikTok content creator and livestreamer, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has been admitted to a hospital after being involved in a road accident while broadcasting live on social media.
The crash occurred on Sunday along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos as the influencer was reportedly streaming live on Instagram.
Videos from the livestream, which have since gone viral, showed Peller behind the wheel of his recently purchased Mercedes-Benz, appearing emotionally unstable and visibly upset while driving alone.
During the session, he broke down in tears and made a series of disturbing statements, expressing fear of public ridicule should his relationship collapse.
He also hinted at harming himself, while insisting he did not want to endanger anyone else.
“I will use this car and have an accident right now,” he said during the livestream, and later added, “I’m scared. I’m scared. If you break up with me, people will be mocking me, they will be mocking me, they will be mocking me, they will be, they will be mocking me, they will not… Thank you, I’m going to kill myself.”
Shortly after these remarks, footage captured the moment his vehicle swerved off the road and rammed into a barrier, leaving the luxury car badly damaged. Passersby reportedly rushed to his aid before he was taken to a nearby hospital.
Although it has been confirmed that Peller is receiving medical care, there has been no official update regarding the extent of his injuries.
Peller’s relationship with fellow influencer Jarvis has been marked by frequent public disputes, accusations, and reconciliations shared online.
Recent leaked messages suggesting another breakup have intensified speculation that emotional distress from the relationship may have contributed to the incident.
Reactions online have been divided. While many social media users have expressed concern over Peller’s mental health and safety, others have raised doubts about the authenticity of the episode, questioning whether it was exaggerated or staged, given his reputation for dramatic and viral content.
