Wike appoints 42, 000 aides in less than 48 hours

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has appointed 28,000 Special Assistants for political units.

The development was contained in statement by his media aide, Kelvin Ebiri.
Ebiri said the appointment takes effect immediately.

This is coming less than 24 hours after the governor appointed 14,000 special advisers for the political units and 319 ward Liaison Officers.

The governor also appointed 40 local government area Liaison Officers.
