2023: G-9 celebrates as as Josephine Akioyamen joins APC

The G-9 Benue South Progressives Forum, a factional group of the All Progressives Congress has reacted to the defection of Akioyamen Josephine to the APC.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Akioyamen resigned her appointment as Senior SPecial Assistant on Diaspora Affairs to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.

The activist has also joined the APC.

Reacting, G-9 through its PRO Akoh Ikwuoche, said Akioyamen’s defection will further stabilize the APC.

Ikwuoche said, “ G-9 wishes to celebrate the landmark defection of Dame Akioyamen Josephine, the SSA to Benue State Government on Diaspora from PDP to APC today, 27th October, 2023.

“Dame Josephine is a high profile member of G-9 Benue South Progressives Forum and she was a stabilizing force behind PDP in Benue State since 2015 till date. She is a master Strategist and a woman of source.

“Her entry into APC marks the Final Burial of PDP in Benue state. Welcome to the noble family our dear Akioyamen.”
